strange facts

Isn't this just typical of our government

It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also get an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of >>$2,470.00.

This compares very well to a single pensioner who after contributing to the growth and development of Australia for 40 to 50 years only receives a monthly maximum of $1,012.00 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement.

Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!

Let's send this to all Australians so we can all be ticked off and maybe we can get the refugees cut back to $1,012.00 and the pensioners up to $2,470.00 and enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 years.

This pension thing is a hoax. It started as a Canadian program with a one time payment to assist African reugees. Check your facts on Google before you make a racist ass out of yourself.

For the information of this person and others.... who wish to say my post was racist.... here is a few little things to think about....
One... all comments and post are not all my opinion some are sent in..
Two... They are designed to get you thinking and provoke a response because they are someones thoughts if not mine...
Three....
The pension in Australia is currently $830 per month on Social Security benefits.... with a once a year loan of up to $500 which is paid back over a 6 month period... the refugee payments are the same as those above however their entitlements do differ from those residing here... It depends where they are from... many charity organisations and church groups are set up to assist with cheap housing, food, power and fuel as money, they also assist with work and other factors...
There is no one saying these people do not need help because anyone who cares would no they do, but what this post raises is peoples attitude to inequality's in the system and some persons on attitudes to them... not mine...
